Consider Giving Vintage

I missed the last few days, been far too busy for my own good!

Oh My Goodness there's only 36 days left until Christmas is actually here and the huge question I ask myself is "will I be ready?"  More than likely I will be with the help of all the friendly Etsy shop owners out there in the Land of Etsy!

Lets visit Vintage again, there are a number of beautifully constructed pieces from our past that are making quite a resurgence as useful, practical, well constructed and beautiful.

I found this wonderful Vintage shop called NorthSouthSalvage!  What a beautiful shop and the shop owner is offering a 10% discount coupon!  How terrific is that?
Besides this Rag Rug

there are several different rag rugs as well as some 200+ other vintage items to choose from and just about every item in this shop holds memorabilia from another time zone and are well preserved and beautiful, longing for someone to make them useful once again!  I love those old rag rugs, they were so well made and the color combinations are totally fantastic!

Then I found Vintage55 stocked full for Christmas shoppers who would love to buy someone a beautiful piece or two of vintage jewelry!  Oh my, so many wonderful pieces it would be difficult to choose but one!  Like this beautiful Starfish brooch

made with faux pearls and turquoise!  Or this pretty Seahorse Brooch!

Young girls adore brooches of animals, sea creatures and fun characters, stop by and find lots here!

While at the VintageVerses shop with over 1,600 pieces of Vintage Verses to choose from!  Like this "Joy To The World" vintage greeting?

What Fun these are!  Many of these would be great for caroling and having these to send to loved ones would be terrific this season.

THIS shop, VintagebyCrystal is absolutely different and unique with its spun cotton creations! Look at this piece spun cotton Vintage Inspired Butterfly Rider!  So cute and so different, making any gift you choose from this store to give someone special indeed!
Do you or someone you know love Vintage Cookbooks?  Check out this Vintagekitchenshop!  There is a cook book from the 1940's, titled The Boston Cooking School Cook Book.

How nifty is that?  There are several other vintage cook books to choose from!  Any student taking a Culinary Course would be enthralled with this or a home cook enthused with the preparation of good food!

Oh and how about the name on your list for that someone who loves sewing, or crafting?  Wouldn't some of these Vintage patterns or fabrics make a wonderful gift?  Like this pattern for little girls pinafore and dresses, look at how very Christmas season this little dress pattern is!  If I could sew clothing, this is definitely a pattern I would love to have in my pattern collection!
This pattern and many others comes from the VintageStitchShop!

If your looking for ideas for your gift giving this year, browse Vintage, it is such a huge trend in today's world, many are totally getting back into Vintage and all things made to last!

There is a huge variety of Vintage shops at Etsy, all you have to do is put Vintage into the search bar and hundreds of shops will pop up for your viewing.  No two shops are the same, but you can certainly find jut about any vintage item your looking for just search for the genre or specific items, your sure to find it at a vintage shop at Etsy.com!
